I had a wonderful experience at McLean Jewelry Buyers! I brought in a collection of gold rings and settings that I inherited, and Dariush walked me through as he tested each one and explained what he was doing and what it was telling him about the gold in each ring. In the end, I walked out with a nice check for my gold! I would highly recommend McLean Jewelry Buyers if you need to sell gold or unwanted jewelry.

Darius at McLean Jewelry Buyers was great! We've sold jewelry there and found the process there to be easy and fair and most importantly they are honest. I would suggest making an appointment there if you are considering selling any precious stones or metals.

Dariush was wonderful. Able to fit me in an appointment last minute. He went through the items I have had for years in a meticulous manner. Very honest about an old engagement ring I had saying I would make more selling it on my own, however I chose to go with him because he made this process very easy. If you have gold or sterling this is the place to go. I have already recommended to 2 people. Will be returning in the future. The $ was more than a pawn shop for sure! Couldn't be happier with my decision.

My mother recently passed in which my father and I were dealing with let alone having to sort through her jewelry. I first spoke to Darius on the phone and we arranged to meet on a Saturday which was convenient as I worked during the weekdays. We confirmed our appointment through text before our scheduled date and time. Darius was very friendly and immediately extended his condolences again when we first met. His office is located in the business section of Tyson’s Corner not far from Tyson’s I and II. Darius went through each piece of gold jewelry we presented which was understandable as he was the buyer. There were pieces we had that were not gold which he was honest to point out and the semiprecious stones were not as valuable as we had thought. We ended up keeping those pieces. After the initial screening of each piece, Darius tested each gold piece he was buying with a chemical compound. I’m describing this in detail as I want to let you know of the process you will have to go through when selling your gold to Darius.
